Big thank you to Roger Williams and everyone at Kinsta for giving me this opportunity. Your support is highly appreciated.

I'll be working primarily on the Community and Incident Response teams. It will be part-time, especially as I'm also focused on running my footwear ecommerce brand, but I'm really excited to see this happen.

It's incredible to see companies like Kinsta actively supporting community contributors. I can see how Kinsta is passionate about our WordPress ecosystem and committed to keep increasing contributions to the WordPress Project.

I'm super happy to share some personal news: I'm now officially sponsored by Kinsta for all my work with the WordPress project! ❤️

Excited to see WordCamp Asia 2025 kicking off and bringing around 700 folks for the contributor day! I couldn't join you all this year, but I wish everyone has a fantastic time learning, sharing, and connecting!

I’m also open to opportunities in other positions or full-time as well (especially with non-profits), particularly in community engagement, project management, or business operations. Feel free to reach out if you would like my CV or more details.

My primary hope is that I can be sponsored again to work on the WordPress Incident Response team and Community team, even if only for 5 to 20 hours per week.

I don’t have a new specific role in mind, and mostly looking for something interesting!

Looking primarily for part-time work, as I am also the owner and investor in an e-commerce business and want to put more hours toward it in the next few months.

I have no hard feelings against Automattic or
@ma.tt.

Both were highly supportive at different moments and helped me grow a lot, so I’m very grateful for that.

The past few months have been challenging, as many of my colleagues have recently left the company, so I deeply appreciate the peace I'm feeling as I move forward.

Now, my wish is to move on and distance myself from any drama.

I’ve always appreciated the passion Automatticians have for quality and their dedication to creating a better web.

I really want to say thank you to each one of them. As I also shared in an internal farewell post, they are the reason I always wanted to work at Automattic.

As many people already know, I left Automattic last week.

It was really hard to say goodbye after all these years.

Basically, the whole idea is that their predatory relationship with the WordPress project is morally questionable. And it would be good for people to have that in mind while working with them.

That's true. It's not illegal to not contribute (the only "illegal" thing they are doing is infringing the trademark).

But I honestly think we should advocate for people to use services/products from companies that truly give back.

I know how you feel. I'm on Waiting Mode right now on two big things, and... It's hard.

Hey my friend. I see. I really don't like what Twitter has become, and the only reason I was still there was because it is still relevant. So I'm glad this is happening in Brazil, as I hope to see people move away from Twitter finally and this looks like a great step in this direction.
