I'm Kenyan. I Don't Write Like ChatGPT. ChatGPT Writes Like Me. I'm calm. I'm calm. I promise.

The machine in its quest to sound authoritative ended up sounding like a KCPE graduate who scored an 'A' in English Composition. It accidentally replicated the linguistic ghost of the British Empire.

Reminds me of our findings comparing unequal sharing in Brazilian versus English kids for my PhD. No differences in amount shared, but on active (UK) versus passive (BR) sharing. BR kids took their share more often. Small effect size (afair) and urban communities though.

200 boats. 5,000 people. Indigenous, quilombola, and riverine leaders filled the waters of Belém this week to say: NO to Ferrogrão. No more destruction.
Their message to #COP30: Implementation without justice for Indigenous & frontline communities isn’t climate action.
