we made the wheaton metro escalator go 50mph. Why? Funny
And last but not least:
for visibility reasons all pedestrians are now required to wear those vests tiny dogs wear so hawks won’t eat them
we are going to build a bunch more parking garages 👍 for fun
6 ft max building height limit. preferably built into a charming hillside
We’re not doing bike lanes anymore. And we’re also going to stop making the bikeway map. Figure it out!

Be sure to email your local, state, and federal officials to ask them to increase funding for transit!
Transit is key to affordable access to jobs and opportunity, to our regional economy, and to reducing air pollution and fighting climate change.
Metro deserves our support!
So we hope you will join CSG in our three-state campaign for the funding that our Metro system, as well as all of our local bus and commuter rail systems, deserve.
And, thanks to @wmatagm.bsky.social Randy Clark and the @wmata.com team, our Metro is providing high-frequency, reliable service, earning high marks from customers and the biggest return in ridership among major transit agencies in the U.S.
