This is disappointing from a Patriots perspective. Godwin was their best option at WR in free agency. Now it’s back to the drawing board. They have to go for someone like Slayton or Palmer, try to pull off a trade, or just wait until the draft.

If it were me, I’d focus on drafting and developing.
