I'm not sure how much longer we can continue to ignore Covid for.
It's a driver of the societal decline we're living through. Most parents I know with small kids are sick multiple times a year, some every month. Repeat infections ⬆️ long covid risk & can cause immune dysfunction & organ damage
So we have absences exploding in lockstep w/ kids being reinfected repeatedly by a virus that dysregulates their immune systems, making them more likely to experience both acute and chronic illness.

We are not AFTER THE PANDEMIC. Why is everyone so resistant to understanding this? Why why why?
Oh, chronic absenteeism after the pandemic has risen to over 60% for high school students in Ontario?
That’s because IT’S NOT AFTER THE PANDEMIC
Kids are missing school because they are sick, and this is happening on a global scale.

Since I’m Canadian, I will say this politely… No, thank you.
Sam Altman has a new plan to make money from generative AI: he wants intelligence to be treated like water or electricity — and we’ll all have to pay him for it.
His chatbots are degrading people’s ability to retain information and think critically. Now he wants to sell smarts back to us.

Every Member of Congress should condemn Trump’s genocidal threat to end Iranian civilization.
Trump isn't a king — Republicans must do their constitutional duty and join Democrats to end the unwell president’s illegal war.
Screenshot of a post from Donald Trump: A whole civilization will die tonight, never to be brought back again. I don't want that to happen, but it probably will. However, now that we have Complete and Total Regime Change, where different, smarter, and less radicalized minds prevail, maybe something revolutionarily wonderful can happen, WHO KNOWS? We will find out tonight, one of the most important moments in the long and complex history of the World. 47 years of extortion, corruption, and death, will finally end. God Bless the Great People of Iran!
The President of the United States is openly threatening to commit genocide against 90 million people.
Prime Minister Carney: if there was ever a moment to denounce this illegal war, withdraw your support, and call for accountability for war crimes—it’s now.
As Trump threatens the people of Iran with more war crimes and continues to destroy America’s reputation, Congress isn’t powerless in this moment. Demand that your senators and representative do everything they can to stop the regime’s illegal war.
“post-pandemic era”?
The new highly mutated covid variant BA.3.2 and the impact on children.
We need to stop these AI-induced hallucinations about building data centres.

‘A lifetime of living with chronic illness makes patients and caregivers the experts regarding their specific condition. You’re a team member, not the captain. Have the courage to say ‘I don’t know.’
‘Without experiencing illness firsthand, it’s impossible to truly and definitively understand what it does to your body and mind. Heartfelt empathy goes a long way.’
‘Don’t assume patients are caregivers are too dumb to understand complex health issues. Don’t assume they’re incapable of handling honest truths about diagnoses.’
‘Pain is real. It’s experienced in different ways by different people and it changes you. It doesn’t automatically make patients drug seekers. 1 standard protocol doesn’t fit all.’
Happy National Doctors Day to the docs that did not inspire my artist book, An Open Letter to Doctors, and not to those that did. Here are 4 of 10 pages of things I want them to know.
Appreciation to your graphic designers for an outstanding job throughout this campaign, too!

“Several long-term studies conducted before, during, and after the pandemic have found significant declines in children’s executive functioning…” There is no AFTER THE PANDEMIC YET. We’re still in it!
It’s because children (and parents and teachers) are being infected and reinfected with COVID!!!
