The Kind of Love That Feels Safe I grew up in a household that wasn’t safe. Love wasn’t something you were given—it was something you tried to earn. And even then, it could be taken away without warning. Doing something “wrong” didn’t come with clear rules. There was no roadmap for how to be good enough. A look, a tone, something as small as saying the wrong thing at the wrong time could trigger it.

Perhaps DOGE isn't nearly as efficient as their name would imply. It's almost as if the Federal agencies that were identifying safety problems were doing their job well before Elon dismissed them in relatiation.
