A screenshot of PCalc running on iOS and displaying Pi.

Once again, Pi Day rolls around, and I forgot to actually do anything substantial to promote PCalc.

Even worse, I added Tau in the latest release, and the Pi people and the Tau people have been at war for decades. Don't ask…

But the current iOS version is 3.14.x and so Pi wins today!

A Russian-language promotional poster for the tv show “Americans.” It shows stark black-and-white photos of the two main characters, each holding a gun, with only Phillip’s tie and Elizabeth’s lipstick in bright red. The tagline, in Russian, reads, “Americans: Root for our side.”

That is delightful; I've been looking for an excuse to watch it again.

As a little tidbit to recognize the time in which it originally aired: it was shown in Russia at the time. Here's a promotional poster for one of the seasons, with the tag line "root for our side."

Is it true that Dr. Fear Sr. is married to a Dr. Pain, who was a general dentist? I can’t tell if it’s true or a local urban legend.
