What is it about crickets that makes them extra likely to stick around!? You know most of the day is usually listening to the same thing over and over, but nothing gets imprinted like crickets 😅

but mixing.... i feel the learning is never done 😭I still want to improve

I never had a mixing mentor per say (...although that would be awesome) but I have been also very lucky to have gotten some super detailed/thorough mix feedback at a couple points in my career, and that has been incredibly helpful to have someone who's an expert show you where to focus

maybe both 🤔I always think that improving my sound design skills was a big contributor as well, lots of crossover in paying attention to frequency spectrum, transients, etc. Like it helped me develop more of an ear for details i guess. you??
