The image features a vibrant bouquet of various flowers, including red, purple, blue, yellow, and orange blooms, with green leaves and stems. The flowers are densely packed, creating a colorful and lively arrangement against a black background. Overlapping the floral design is bold white text that reads: "I WISH FOR YOU WHAT YOU WISH FOR IMMIGRANTS" The text is prominent and stands out clearly against the colorful backdrop. At the bottom, the word "TRANSPAINTER" appears, likely indicating the artist or creator of the image.

We’re in the second Gilded Age just like the first — when America’s wealth was in the hands of a few, money corrupted politics, and working people were abused and exploited.
It can be easy to feel discouraged, but the first Gilded Age teaches us lessons on how we can fight back.
While bombing Iran is bad for Trump’s poll numbers, starting a war and creating chaos is good for Trump as an authoritarian. Authoritarians exploit chaos to claim emergency powers, deploy the military domestically, and undermine free and fair elections.
These attacks must be viewed from this lens.
In his diaper.
You are correct, sir.
There is still beauty in the world. (photographer unknown.)

“Low-income children and families would be among the groups hit hardest by Republicans' One #BigBeautifulBill Act.”

This is because they've made things like how much money your family has and who you know just as important as, y'know... studying and doing the work. If they'd quit being such weenies about letting our corrupt systems continue, this wouldn't need to be true.
Not good, or right, or decency. Those are just words they wrap themselves in, sometimes, to fool the gullible. But give them consequences. Good, hard consequences, then MAYBE there could be hope.
I don't expect anything from those people. They're the bullies whose teachers and parents did nothing to correct them. They'll just keep doing whatever they want, until someone shows them there are consequences to their actions. That's the only thing people like them understand.

I stand with Senator Alex Padilla 💙
Alex Chavez explains that his work is “a passionate expression that finds inspiration in capturing the beauty of life,” which is evident in the way the placement of each petal, or expression of subject, is a reminder of the inherent beauty.

Sen. Murphy: “They say that he didn’t identify who he was. Watch the video, he clearly states, ‘I am Senator Alex Padilla.’ They’re going to spin this, but I’m begging my Republican colleagues, don’t let them do it.”
Here is Senator Alex Padilla's entire full statement after being detained by Donald Trump and Kristi Noem's Department of Homeland Security.
Like he said, if they're doing this to a sitting Senator, imagine what they're doing to other people.
Unconscionable.

Title: What is it?
Black graphic with a photo of police and a quote attributed to Hina, Shamsi, Director of the ACLU National Security Project: "Every move President Trump has made since Saturday night has been escalatory and inflammatory. The idea that these Marines have anywhere near the kind of training required to police protests while respecting people's constitutional rights would be laughable if the situation weren't so alarming."
Militarized streets make our communities less safe.
When they think no one is looking.

Dear Marines in Los Angeles,
Please remember your oath to our constitution.
And that the president who sent you there doesn't give a single damn about American military service members or veterans.
Nor does he care about civilian citizens.
He cares about his ego. And looking "tough".
That is all.
CNN’s Jason Carroll was zip-tied and escorted away—for reporting the news. But they claimed he wasn’t under arrest?
Why are they shooting rubber bullets at and silencing journalists? We still have a First Amendment.
Get some wire cutters.
