The scene is alive and kicking, we're having a hard time keeping up with all the great releases.
I agree with you that the Toonstruck / Curse of Monkey Island production values were an unsustainable blip. But from @wadjeteyegames.bsky.social to @stuckinattic.bsky.social, indies have found cheaper ways to make a career selling 2D adventures over the last 15 years.
You can tell me Bluesky is dead, irrelevant and actively hostile, but you have NO IDEA how many point & click adventure games I've played.
