It's always so fun to get to see these WIPs of what you're working on! Is there a place where you post more of the finished pieces?
The way that I've been trying to handle this is to find things that I can make and sell for as cheap as possible while still covering the bills until my queue is finished. After that I will have a lot less debt and a lot more free time, and I intend to see if I can make things even more affordable.
It's REALLY unfortunate that we have to charge money for it, if bills weren't a thing then I would gladly make things for people for free. I would rather get to build the things I love without involving the threat of a paycheck. It'd remove so much pressure and obligation...but we're not there yet.
This quote is such a damaging way to look at it too. As someone who's behind on their queue and has been for years, there is CONSTANT guilt and pressure over the fact that people are waiting for something that I know they need for comfort and hope. I'm doing my best, I can't do my best any faster.
