The overlap in MAGA voters and Southern Evangelicals is that they’ll praise anything Trump says without realizing it’s in opposition to everything they’ve ever said & policies they’d primarily benefit from.
Gotta keep those Confederate statues bc “our heritage!”— but this will be widely praised.

They’re welcome to vote on the Democrat bill to end gerrymandering across the country any time they want to.
He thinks people believe this 🤣🤣🤣
Thank you for this!
To be fair, it is Taco Tuesday. 🥴
As Trump's war on Iran continues, reminder that his own son-in-law Jared Kushner — who is leading negotiations with Iran — stands to profit from lucrative contracts with its regional rivals.
War gives dictators like Trump (and his family) more power and more wealth.
MAGA minds definitely won’t be changed— but for the Comment Section Rubberneckers just scrolling through for drama, some may not be politically entrenched & might only see those comments. The information pipeline sucks & I know it’s prob not useful, but what if that’s all some potential voters see?
Debates I’m hearing are:
Geoff Duncan could win a general & get Independent support— but may be a GOP wolf in sheep’s clothing.
Keisha governed poorly (“remember the Wendy’s?!”) but has the most name recognition.
Esteves is either a complete unknown or totally beloved, depending.
Same for Thurmond.
I mean I don’t know either. I just know that if we want non-political ppl to hear the truth, we may need to be a FB Comment Section Troll Army that constantly calls out lies 🤣 and has a couple of things we can cite that he’s accomplished that play to Independents & maybe even Republicans too.
I saw that too— I just struggle to think it’ll go that way based on the lukewarm enthusiasm I’m seeing for her where I am (suburbs N of Atlanta). But maybe! I imagine in a general where Ossoff is fighting for his life, most liberal Georgians will vote D down the ticket. I worry about independents.
The biggest argument I hear against him is actually a lie & ironically the thing Dems probably like least about him right now.
I keep seeing “he voted against the Laken Riley Act!” online… But actually he voted for it because he’d already said he’d be in support before the worst shit got added in.
I’d rate it less. Primaries for both parties are a shitshow right now— tho at least the Dem side isn’t the mudslinging mess Burt Jones is in. Every local Dem I talk to here has someone else they like/think could win a general, no consistency, & think everyone else’s faves are “ehh”. No standouts.
He just gave away the whole game
Well, at least the BBC is covering this.
If trickle-down economics worked at all, the world gaining 400 billionaires last year would have set off an economic boom, given everyone raises, and lowered our prices.
But it didn't. Because trickle-down economics is a scam designed to make the rich richer off the rest of us.

It’d be easier to sell his story of the Venezuela Success if the funds from their oil had started out in the US and not some Middle East bank, and if Congress got to use that money in appropriations.
Don’t blame us when nobody sees the shit you do in the dark.
I was in 6th grade when this happened.
My son is in 6th grade now.
He’s had a cell phone longer than I would have let him otherwise, but it was a decision we made after Uvaldi so he could keep it in his backpack. He’s been doing active shooter drills since PreK.
How do Republicans justify this?
Cackling that my first thought was, “is he going to send Space Force units to… Iran?”
And doubling over that even as an imaginary folly, it wouldn’t be the stupidest thing he’s done to date.
We are spending billions to keep our entire navy in the Strait to fecklessly fail to open a waterway that wasn’t closed until Trump’s pointless war of choice closed it.
He’s just burning your tax money.
In a nutshell. 😊

As a neighbor of hillbillies in Appalachia, my favorite thing listed for sale several times a year are “chester draws”.
Also amused that they collectively hate the sole county commissioner because he “must be corrupt” as a dude yielding so much power— but if it’s Trump doing it, “I voted for this 🇺🇸”
Feels like what @jvl.bsky.social has been worrying could be a likely outcome for the last few weeks 😖
In the same manifesto, Palantir's owners argued that we need a national military draft, that soft power is over, and that we were too hard on Germany and Japan after World War II. I don't think that company should be allowed to exist anymore.
Rinse and repeat.
-Markets open down
- Slew of mysterious giant trades made “buying the dip”
-Trump says, “We’re very, very close to a deal— they’re desperate for a deal”
-Markets jump, everyone takes a breath, Strait is simultaneously open & closed
-He’s the hero who saved Iran from… himself.
Palantir.
🔥😬 “because they’re crooks. And everybody knows it.”
