She's leaving Congress to, uh, spend more time with her family, her ambassadorial dreams are ashes, her career is over, and maybe it's okay to stop asking her stuff

Probably just a coincidence that the law professors defending insurrectionist John Eastman are the same guys arguing against birthright citizenship, in no way reflective of a world view on who the law protects vs binds
Thank gawd, and Glenn Greenwald, we did not elect Hillary the hawk.
The LOLOLOL's keep coming today. You know how hard it is to get disbarred in California?
President Manbaby lashes out at the Pope by harming children.
destruction of the voting rights act by a partisan court that thinks the blacks have it too good is on par with the ignominy of the courts that gutted the 14th amendment and killed the 1875 civil rights act
I mean I feel like what the goodly Archbishop is missing here is that Trump is the Antichrist, and therefore the Pope is very much his rival
Just two unnecessary words, but you're on the right track
Trump intervened. His DOJ settled. That didn't stop a jury from ruling against Live Nation and its monopolistic practices.
Big win for music fans. Big embarrassment for Team Trump, who tried to sell them out.

This has been an open secret for years among everyone at Harvard Law but we're not supposed to acknowledge it officially.
It's completely perverting the entire profession and ensuring ideological capture.
There is a certain kind of Catholic convert who thinks they are more Catholic than the Pope.
BREAKING: Hochul will formally propose a yearly tax surcharge on second homes in NYC that are worth $5 million or more, she said on Tuesday.

I hope Lauren Sánchez Bezos is happy
Also it is American in the extreme, like SNL skit America, to pay for cancer treatments by reducing taxes on DoorDash driver tips. That is fucking DARK.
Really? Right in front of my Doordash Grandma?
Notice how the most celebrated and successful space mission in *decades* was run by at least 50% “DEI hires”—not all white men? And not even all Americans. Maybe diversity *is* strength . . .
Also this is a really good video that NASA released late last night as an overall recap of Artemis II.
The four humans who have traveled the furthest from Earth. (Via NASA.)
What I like best about the Artemis II photos is that it was taken by actual humans. An actual person had to frame it and manually adjust settings. It's their own artistic rendition of what they thought looked best at the time, something no probe, rover or unmanned spacecraft can take. it's art
We are tearing all this Caligula shit down on day 1

Dear Mrs. Vance: If you ever decide that you refuse to let anyone else tell you what to do, I'll be happy to jump with you. Not an instructor, but an Airborne SOWT with combat jumps. I can get you your choice of instructor! Let me know, we'll make a video of your jump! If JD is scared, that's okay.
Republicans in Congress are complicit.
It’s okay to say that out loud
Donald Trump just demonstrated that the United States can have the most well-trained, well-equipped and highest-morale military in history, but still LOSE A WAR against a morally-loathsome, economic basketcase because of bad leadership and negligible strategic planning.
Earth and Moon from DSCOVR NASA's Earth Polychromatic Imaging Camera (EPIC) aboard the Deep Space Climate Observatory (DSCOVR) satellite captured this unique view of the Moon as it moved in front of the sunlit side of Earth last month. This view shows the fully illuminated “dark side” of the moon that is never visible from Earth. Ian Regan processed this version of the image to account for the Moon's motion. NASA / NOAA / Ian Regan
I hadn't seen this before. This is pretty remarkable.
Earth and Moon in one NASA photo.

I like how NASA is using this mission to do a little PR on behalf of the value of distinctly human observation in the scientific process.
Just celebrated my birthday in Gualala - glorious. Gualala, Jenner, Bodega Bay - a gorgeous stretch of Highway 1.
