And KitKats I think.
I’ve been getting that and Hackney independent socialists.
You can use the experience to reiterate how much we need HS2 (in full) just to annoy them further.
The trade-off was that we got deep, meaningful lyrics at the expense of their melody having a tune. Honestly, I'd prefer hummable gobbledegook.
I worked on a free emergency train provided for a town split in two by all of its road/footbridges being storm damaged. It was well used, because the road diversion took nearly 2 hours.
As soon as a temporary road bridge opened, we lost most of our passengers - even though the train was still free.
I'd love to know how much local Nimbys think our county's population has grown by. Because it's 3.4% since 1991. (16,000 people)
The people who need all these homes being built are ALREADY HERE, USING THE SERVICES. *waves*
Population growth and housebuilding aren't causing service pressure here.
Didn't Liz Truss make out that it was some sort of post-apocalyptic wasteland?
He's definitely out at the reshuffle.
Even better view from the front than the back!
Labour MP gets dragged publicly by a pub landlady for having the audacity to go into her pub, order food and spend money. Honestly no wonder decent people don’t want to go into public life. www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article...
Bold choice for the new Top Gear line-up from the BBC.
I am shocked. Shocked, I tell you. And none of the drivers know how to drive them either.

Go to the theatre, open the programme, and see how soon before (at least) one of the cast has been in Casualty or Holby City.
"Executive homes", which seems to refer to pretty standard average houses.
Presumably to deter repeat visitors.
Indeed - but even then a topographical map shows the house is only 5 metres higher than the nearby Thames. Comparatively mountainous compared to the other riverbank though.
Lived there for four years and still not quite sure which bit the "Hill" is supposed to refer to.
Dent, nearly a two hour walk from the village it serves?
I would love to see the trilogy recut to fit the chronological order of the book chapters, with the three volumes each split into two books.
It would be frankly awful (and would leave The Two Towers about 4 1/2 hours long), but it would make for a fascinating watch.
Antis always refer to a mythical "they" putting solar on agricultural land, as if it's the Government seizing fields for nefarious reasons and not farmers diversifying to generate income.
Why is it always the same awful oversaturated colour palette?!
I’ve always wondered what would happen if they could only charge overseas students the same fees as domestic ones…
Hotel rooms are all clearly designed by people who've never stayed in (or even heard of the concept of) a hotel before.
We should regulate road vehicle drivers as strictly as we regulate train drivers.
My time spent working for three MPs seemed to mainly involve being followed from job to job by Dr Bill Kirkup investigating the identical crisis at the local maternity unit.
Basically the same shape already.
We could improve both the Boat Race and University Challenge by making it so every Oxbridge college needed to have their own boat in the race, and that they could each only field one team in University Challenge.
Truly something for all the family at Whitehaven Civic Hall.
