During my visit to Northeastern University Toronto, I met with students who are working hard to build skills for their future. That’s why we are helping keep education within reach for all by maintaining the 40% increase to grants and the Canada Student Loan increase for 2026-2027.

What an exciting day for our community! Today, I joined all three levels of government to announce that tunnelling is underway for the Ontario Line.
Once completed, Spadina—Harbourfront will be home to five stations: Exhibition, King West, Chinatown, Osgoode and Queen.

Our government is suspending the federal Fuel Excise Tax on gasoline and diesel, until Labour Day.
This measure will help reduce costs at the pump, saving Canadians 10 cents per litre on regular gasoline and 4 cents per litre on diesel.

Our government has launched the Build Communities Strong Fund. With a $51 billion investment, we are building the infrastructure Canadians rely on every day. In Toronto, over $183 million has been announced so far to upgrade TTC infrastructure.
