When I was a kid in the 70s, I had a 45 by a band called "<some name> and the Snaps". It was a reworking of "What Do We Do With The Drunken Sailor" called "What Do We Do With The Drunken Driver". I can't remember the lead name, but it had a dark green label with a small hole like an LP would have.

I thought I would do this each day
But ADHD said "No way!

Stopping to pick up some barbecue

It's two in the morning, and so
I'm up yet I also feel low

It's become "The Alarm Doesn't Matter Day"!

The work week is nearing an end
So take a deep breath in my friend

'Til Monday when it starts up again

We seek to move on with consistency
It helps to ensure we have sanity
With pleasure we try
As each day passes by
To achieve the above through maturity

An idea found its way to my head
Last night while I lie in my bed
The very word "limerick"
