As a kid who grew up playing FF7 (it came out when I was 11) seeing those characters in Kingdom Hearts was so weirdly great in 2002. I also appreciate in 2024 that there are essentially 3-4 avenues for folks to be introduced to the FF7 cast - easily one of the best casts (if not THE best) in RPGs.

Undead Unluck was so fucking fun and cool. it was like what if Dante from the devil may cry series was somehow more op, and worked. the animation was well, the writing was fun mixing ecchi and shonen with great 4th wall breaks

Superman Meshi was a really fun and cute look at superman, hes more than the tights, the powers and muscles. in the end hes a farm boy and really loves food, and being able to get foreign foods like hot pot is a treat for the man of tomorrow

Deadpool and Wolverine was also a fantastic movie. a great love letter to the 2000s, and 2000s super hero movies. i really hope we never get a follow up on it because it was a perfect time capsule of it.

In july, i got to witness the amazing Superman anime, season 2 was so fucking fun and badass. it was so well written, with twists and turns. adored Kara's development, as well as seeing Lois evolve. very worth it!
