Today, honor a King, not a Felon. #mlkday2025
Learn to be alone. Eat alone, sleep alone, vibe alone, heal alone. Be so confident that you can bloom without opinions and approvals. And if you ever doubt yourself, always remember who you were and how far you've come.
Introverts are not quiet, they wait. To feel safe. To feel free to open up. To feel the trust to let you in their mystical worlds. They may seem closed off at the beginning. But once you're in, trust me you'll be blown away by what lies behind those walls.
Introverts are not shy, they observe. Your actions, your expressions, your tone, and the meaning behind the meaning of your words. They may seem shy on the outside, but believe me they're running a psychology marathon in their heads.

Huge win from @franzanth.bsky.social creating a Content Scraper Blocklist: bsky.app/profile/cont...
It's a blocklist for the kinds of engagement bait accounts that repost stolen content, often with misleading captions.
Bluesky explained in 60 seconds!
WyntonKelly plays exceptionally great on Blues for Philly Joe and Tune Up — there’s a particularly wild moment on the latter, at 3:45, where for 4 seconds or so he seems to time-warp ahead in 4ths to 1967. m.youtube.com/watch?v=-wvX...
Reading through Scott Joplin today. This is the second strain of his first published rag, “Original Rags,” from the year 1899. Seriously great, and you can hear Les McCann and everything else coming from this strain. (I admit I add in a couple of dissonances)
Just noting that the great Greg Osby joined the platform @gregosby.bsky.social
Listening to The Great Jazz Trio KINDNESS, JOY, LOVE AND HAPPINESS. Hank Jones, Ron Carter, Tony Williams, from 1977. One of my first LPs! That was lucky. Such a great album. Beyond great.
FYI the great Jim McNeely is on the platform @jimmymacx.bsky.social
New to our work? Back in 2021, we launched a series of stories documenting the key ways that the ultrawealthy — billionaires like Elon Musk, Jeff Bezos, Peter Thiel — avoid taxes.
Here are 10 of their strategies 👇

I've been followed by - and became mutuals with - more doctors, nurses, academics, "blue dots in red states," artists, photographers, musicians, teachers, moms & dads, grandmas & grandpas at #Bluesky in one week, than I did in four+ years on Twitter. That's pretty cool. Delighted to meet everyone. 🕊️

Listening to your favorite music for just 15 minutes a day reduces stress levels, anxiety, and depression. How long do you listen to music? #MusicMagic #music #MusicTherapy #FeelGoodTunes

Have listened to Bobby Hutcherson’s Dialogue for 40 yrs, but not until tonight, after seeing session pics inside new Tone Poet reissue, did I realize that Freddie Hubbard plays cornet rather than trumpet on all or part of Side 2, where Rivers is heard, as pictured, on bass clarinet.
One of my favorite Alternative Venues for Jazz videos. James Brandon Lewis interviewed his idol Sonny Rollins and got surprised with the knowledge that Sonny knew his music and was proud of him. www.youtube.com/live/iKMHaEX...
I have to say that being on Bluesky is an absolute joy and pleasure.
The interaction and engagement is an absolute delight. I'm so happy many of my Twitter followers joined me here
If we followed each other on Twitter and I haven't yet followed you back here Please drop me a note
