Rep Moore is now asking from a legislative, philosophical, cultural lens why is equity and diversity such an egregious thing to Republicans?

They both state that the folks who introduced the bill surely must just be confused.

Reps King and Grant are discussing why are we wasting time on this bill. King commends Grant for trying to stop this bill in committee, and Grant asks what problem does this bill fix? King replies that he never knew there was a problem with diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Rep King begs his colleagues to wake up, and stop hurting people.
