To so many people who think they're "neutral" on this, this is all abstract theoretical argument - this isn't about the trans or lesbian communities that actually exist, it's about hypothetical ones straight people have made up in their minds. Actual lesbian views of trans folks are very different.

All this money & energy spent to make life more miserable for trans people could've been used to fight against domestic violence, wage disparity, sexual harassment, harassment of people accessing abortion services, proper childcare provision; you know, to make the world a better place instead.

Essential reading on today's regressive ruling. It's worse than I thought; giving scope for trans women (and men) to be exluded from anywhere that decides it is single sex.
