Had to calculate the armor and armor penetration of every weapon and vehicle in WW2, as well as all the points values for the various units. I eventually finished the game after 2 years 😅 (Ostfront 2nd ed.)

Massive respect to the people of Iran. Huge protests over the past 2 weeks. Government buildings burned, entire cities under protester control, police joining forces with protesters. Total internet and phone blackout for the past 24 hours.

oof.... exactly right. Might be partially because stories where everyone is happy and nothing bad happens don't really exist, so the only stories we consume tend to have conflict and suffering, even for characters that were initially happy.
