Zine page. Opens with a loose 3-panel retelling of part of imagination forest, then leads into the following text: "Imagination forest was my entry-point into the Kagerou Project, and my favourite song for a long time. Marry's story resonated with 13 y/o me on a level I'm not sure I'd ever experienced before... At the time, I was a deeeeply closeted trans boy with social anxiety, and my masculinity felt like a monstrous part of me; I related to Marry a lot!! Isolation and monstrousness are both themes that run through the whole Kagerou Project, and they're ultimately what drew me into it back then. Suddenly, I didn't feel quite so alone. That's the power of music and stories and art, right?"

Another zine page, this one opening with 3 panels reflecting moments from the Mekakucity Actors anime; Haruka rejecting his body, Seto reading Kano's mind to share his burden, and Marry looking determined in her medusa form. Leads into the following text: "I soon found and watched Mekakucity Actors! It's a disorienting show to watch without much additional context, but I understood enough of it to feel strongly moved by it at the time. Around that time, I also picked up the Kagerou Daze Official Visual Fanbook from a comic con, but that was about it for me -- " There's another drawing, this one reflecting the ending of Shounen Brave, where older Seto gives younger Seto a little push to be brave. Placed alongside the text: "It wouldn't be until years later that I listened to more of the songs properly! Maybe somewhat fittingly, Shounen Brave is my favourite today."
