I get that. I’m currently looking at old game reviews and videos. There was a feeling back then that anyone could do it. Just a bunch of scrappy friends doing their thing.

I love the ps1 and Ps2 era, too. I got an upscaler a while back and those games still hold up. Got a whole ‘retro’ set up!

I’m going through my old Ps3 and xbox360 games and so much of it is linked to those better days (granted memory filtered a lot of the pain). You can’t go back, but man I wish I could take some of that joy and optimism(and I was NEVER optimistic) and hold on to it. I don’t need perfect, but this?

Yeah. Leaving doesn’t work (plus there are awesome people here I’m better for knowing). I just miss having locals to game with and watch movies with. I lost a few when I came out, and i was too ashamed to make furry friends back in the day, so that’s a ship that had sailed, too. It’s tricky :/

I feel the same way. I don’t want to retreat into the early 2000s (it was a nightmare in it’s own right), but it’s hard. I can’t make local friends because of my anxiety, and in order to have online friends you have to be willing to live in this miserable ecosystem. I don’t really know the solution.

It’s difficult to chase feelings. I’m not trying to live in the past, but it’s hard not to long for a different time, when there’s just not a whole lot to look forward to. Most of my fond memories stop at about 8 or so years ago. :/

I definitely imagine them being dense enough to have weight to them, but soft enough that you would just sink into them if pressed. Like a really comfy memory foam pillow.

I think it works better. that light blue shade wasn't anywhere else on his body, so it always stood out. the feet soles and hand palms matching just makes more sense.

You know, I just realized I changed his foot pad colors in that last drawing. I think it looks nice, and I'm gonna keep it.

There were a few things i missed in the flats (you can see the pant legs are different colors and a piece of the torso is transparent. I just didn’t want to spam the feed with WIP stuff. Figured people would get annoyed.
