Even with setbacks, even facing the worst of my fears I can still keep trying and work through it all. I couldn’t do that a year ago. I’ve learned the best way to fight anxiety is to accept uncertainty, which when explained sounds so obvious but a huge thing for me to figure out. Small wins 🌷
I wasn’t able to arm myself with conflict resolution skills with how aggressively I avoided contact all together to keep myself safe. I’m regaining that in therapy and it’s been so nice. I’m able to reach to and talk to people despite the deep fear and uncertainty I feel inside, I can fight it. +
I think getting my diagnoses and therapy was probably the best thing to ever happen to me. I’m gaining tools and resilience I didn’t have to navigate life. A long time ago when I was a teenager I completely withdrew from society and my peers out of fear, for self preservation, but lost a lot in it.+
Sorry for being a lil sparse, I get very locked in when I paint and probably will be until I finish. Trying to use up my few hours in the evening when my meds are still working to focus on that :3 Love you friends! 💕

Multiply underpainting is a really good way to get your colors and concept in line. It saves you time, especially if you're like me and struggle color matching sometimes. I'm able to color pick in the general area and keep the cohesive values relatively the same. :3
