Last year, I started working a bit more on my framing, particularly by playing with the lines of roads and paths. In this photo taken on the night of May 11, 2025, this effort shows quite well. Despite the distant thunderstorm, I find the atmosphere it creates really pleasant! I still have so much to learn and experiment with when it comes to photography and composition!

L'année dernière, j’ai commencé à travailler un peu plus mes cadrages, en jouant notamment avec les lignes des chemins. Sur cette photo prise dans la nuit du 11 mai 2025, cela ressort plutôt bien je trouve ☺️

J’ai encore bcp à apprendre et expérimenter en matière de photo et de composition !

Cette immersion dans les coulisses du Festival a été une expérience humaine marquante, partagée avec des collaborateur·rices passionné·es et une équipe de bénévoles exceptionnel·les. Ce fut un réel plaisir de transmettre notre passion commune au public et de retrouver mes ami·es photographes ! 📷🌩️🌪️

Sur le Festival il était possible de s'essayer à la présentation météo ! Un exercice plus difficile qu'il n'y paraît !

Ce week-end s'est tenu la seconde édition du Festival Chasseurs d'Orages ! ⚡

Après avoir profité du Festival en tant que visiteur l'an dernier, j'ai eu le privilège de rejoindre l'équipe organisatrice pour cette nouvelle édition !

When a storm moves away, it's not always easy to get beautiful compositions, but I really like this one. Even though the lightning strike is distant and less aesthetic, its alignment extending down the path beautifully embodies the idea of "the road to the storm." There's still a long way to go before mastering the art of storm photography! And I really like this rendering!

Lorsque l’orage s’éloigne, il n'est pas toujours facile d’obtenir de belles compositions, mais j’aime bien celle-ci. Le coup de foudre a beau être lointain et moins esthétique, son alignement dans le prolongement du chemin incarne joliment l'idée de "la route vers l’orage". Ce rendu me plaît bien !

A little later on the evening of May 11, 2025, after finding a new viewpoint, I was able to watch the thunderstorms slowly move away to the east. The electrical activity became more discreet, leaving a few rare but beautiful lightning strikes to tear through the sky and illuminate the beginning of the night. A superb atmosphere!

Dans la soirée du 11 mai 2025, après avoir trouvé un nouveau point de vue, j’ai pu contempler les orages s’éloigner doucement vers l’est. L'activité électrique se fait plus discrète, laissant quelques rares mais beaux coups de foudre illuminer ce début de nuit. Une superbe ambiance ! ⚡

Still on the night of April 19th to 20th, 2025: once the first wave of storms had passed, new cells began producing lightning to the west. It’s still distant and the cloud ceiling is low, but it’s still a beautiful sight!

Toujours dans la nuit du 19 au 20 avril 2025, une fois la première salve passée, de nouvelles cellules commencent à lâcher de la foudre à l'ouest. C’est encore lointain et le plafond nuageux est bas, mais le spectacle n'en reste pas moins esthétique ! 🌩️

Photographier la foudre implique parfois de composer avec la pluie, une contrainte qui complique sérieusement la prise de vue. En témoignent ces deux clichés saisis lors de la nuit orageuse du 19 au 20 avril 2025 !

➡️On relève des rafales maximales globalement entre 140 et 160 km/h

⚠️🟠#VigilanceOrange toujours en cours sur ces départements, l'Hérault et la Corse.

Le vent moyen 10 min a également était remarquable dépassant les 100km/h sur la station de Lézignan, proche de la tempête Klaus.

Clairement une tempête remarquable avec de très nombreux dégâts dans l'Aude et les Pyrénées-Orientales.
