Call us back when you're ready to federally ban gerrymandering. Until then, enjoy a taste of your own medicine

Republicans in red states have gerrymandered to shit and back, often illegally, and when voters have passed initiatives to ban the practice, they have (even more illegally) ignored and undercut them. It is a little late to clutch your pearls and weep about the sanctity of democracy now

The number of Republicans crashing out about getting nakedly gerrymandered is, unironically, a sign that we need to do more of it. You guys are correct! This shit sucks! Welcome to the party, pals! We can all stop doing it any time you like!

I have the utmost respect for Senator Kaine and Senator Warner but we do not need “coaching” on redistricting coming from a cuck chair in the corner. How about you all stay focused on the fascist in the White House and let us handle redistricting in Virginia. 10-1

Wrong. The playing field never was level to start with, and the only way we get to that is if we a) get fascists out of government and b) get everyone on the same page that gerrymanders are bag and NOBODY should do them and ban them outright.

A screenshot of a post on X (formerly Twitter) by Magyar Péter (Ne féljetek), with the handle @magyarpeterMP. The post reads:
"Until 31 May, the Orbán puppets may voluntarily step down from their positions. This applies to the President of Hungary, the President of the Curia, the President of the National Office for the Judiciary, the President of the Constitutional Court, and the Prosecutor General.
On 12 April, the Hungarian people voted for a complete political transformation.
If these officials do not step down voluntarily by 31 May, then — on the basis of the mandate received from millions of Hungarians — we will remove them from office."
At the bottom, the timestamp reads "3:04 AM • Apr 21, 2026" alongside "19.9K Views".

Peter Magyar is not playing around at all. He's going to purge every single remnant of corrupt Orbanism. This is exactly how Dems need to be when they retake power.

To any Hungarians annoyed that Americans are placing the credit for your momentous victory on the shoulders of our stunningly repellent little weasel of a VP: you are correct to feel that way, I'm sorry, we just want to seize any available oppurtunity to humiliate him specificially

Perhaps Magyar's most important promise, and the one that certainly resonates with voters: "never again a country without consequences!"

The crowd chants: "To prison! To prison!" [with the corrupt officials of the outgoing government]

@kaine.senate.gov might as well retire because I’ll never vote for him again. Disgraceful.

Yup, the teachers would effectively select students to take a test for elementary/middle school. The charter school in high school was something students applied for at the suggestion of faculty.

On a similar theme, my math subjects were all kinds of out of order and I feel that is part of the reason my algebra is weak

I think at some point when they eventually add more consoles they should consolidate all systems into one app

Wonder whether @markwarner.bsky.social and @kaine.senate.gov will do the right thing. Not optimistic given their past performances.
