Depression doesn’t always look like sadness. Sometimes ts is just ignoring the texts you'd normally care about. It's losing interest in your favorite hobbies for "no reason". It's being EXHAUSTED after doing... virtually nothing. It's going numb instead of feeling pain when more things go wrong.

It can also shows up as irritability/short temper, forgetfulness, zoning out/lack of concentration, indulgent behavior (over eating, doom scrolling, "retail therapy")
