I am somewhat reliably informed that there are about 2.5 pounds of copper and about 1.5 g of gold in the large Flock cameras.

Someone should know that.

When I first started driving electric, I went through tires like candy. They are already expensive (>350/ea). Putting tax on those is one big chunk.

A monthly by tare is smooth and predictable.

I often use Ezra as Exhibit 1 when explaining why progressives, leftists, socialists, communists, and free thinkers all use the word "LIBERAL" as a slur on privilege posturing.

Tax based on weight. Turn if from annual registration USA style into monthly subscription w/ annual tag renewal automated if you are current.

Back when the Orange Alzheimer Gangster was elected, I moved half of my laughable 401(k) into tangible gold and silver (not certificates). It isn't a perfect hedge, but I'm up hella and might still be able to retire before my 90th.

Meanwhile, as you ask, it'll show soon.

"Removed by author."

... and "remove" is an interesting word. It usually implies something was already moved, or simply existing, premoved as it were.

Yeah, I learned a lot of management tricks from my wife, who teaches K-2 autism.

Humans be humaning, and people in office structures tend to emotionally connect w/ managers much as they did with their parents.

Dysfunction? Nah....

I was a kid watching the first Apollo launch and landing, on an old school B&W tv in a big wooden box.

Flashbacks, kinda sort. I figure anyone at NASA who saw that has only got a couple of years to retirement.

What a fabulous achievent!

GRRRRRR.... We did a house library audit here last fall. Donated about 850 books to the local library.

Threw out about 80 ancient collapsing almost orange trade paperbacks. They don't last.

Which is why I always buy favorite author's books in hardcover. Also they are just nicer to hold, read...

Please please do let us know when the USA last won a war?

I'm gonna say we were helpful in Europe w/ the Nazis (Russia did the heavy lifting) and lead in Asia w/ the Japanese. So I'll allow that "we" won that one.

Since then?

We spend more, do more, get less, fuck shit up regularly.

My friends who write fantasy (also guilty here) or develop RPGs have insanely detailed world building and explanations for how magic "works" - IMHO fantasy and SF are more separated by tone & setting. And there are some overlap novels, thinking of Pohl for example.

But what about the oil companies? Surely they deserve decades more of subsidies, tax free profits, and insane profit margins? Don't you have any feeeeeelings?

Told my wife she should never spend more than she can expense or deduct.

The IRS code says she can *DEDUCT* not more than $250, and in her tax bracket that is compensation at about 28%.

So - since the mega-billionaire money is mostly based on their tech stock options and holdings, BLOW UP AI!

It's one of my top ten.

At least three different copies in my library. If I ever get coin to get originals this will be first, then I'll shift to Robertson Davies.

Nobody said winning was free!

So, basically, NVM fuck it. This timeline is too stupid to comment. The author lost the plot last year and the cat is sitting on the keyboard.
