Don’t know if there is a Gary-approved style pub near. Although there is a flipping Michelin starred ‘pub’ a bus ride away.

Walked past this place, The Clubland Methodist Church, in Walworth yesterday. Surprised to read that not only did Michael Caine take his first steps into acting here but it was also built from the donations of various luminaries including Bertie Mee of Arsenal.

Don’t think they’ve got a jukebox alas. Actually can’t recall if they had anything audio wise. Christ, Jaipur is heady stuff.

The Wild Swan, Fetter Lane. New Thronbridge brewery pub. Outside isn’t much to look at but the inside is terrific and they’ve got all their amazing casks plus a great array of lagers on. Jaipur set me back £6.60.

Secrets and Lies - The Final Touch - BBC Sounds Twin brothers, both professional footballers, torn apart by secrets and lies.

@footballcliches.bsky.social Not sure if it’s been covered but the BBC radio play The Final Touch in its 2nd minute features slightly mad, fictional FA Cup commentary that needs an adjudication panel on. www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/...

A hungover Sunday watching flicks; Weapons, massively overhyped and fell apart in the 3rd act. Caught Stealing, mostly shite. Blue Moon, loved.

Kings Head for the Old Farm Derby then hit the Maid for some £5 pints. A few decent drops in there.

I’ve seen it across two or three programmes on the idiot box recently which entirely constitutes a sweeping trend across television.

Alright alright, the Billy Joel songs in TV shows were mildly fun in the mildly fun The Boys a while ago but now everyone is at it. I’m pro-Joel but someone does something cool, everyone then kicks that poor dead horse into luncheon meat.
