Same! I did it all, and a lot of cheese too. These days I'm mostly in the fermentation world, but I still do a few things like duck prosciutto regularly. Also bacon, breakfast & hot Italian sausage sometimes. I try to always have some duck confit in the freezer, too...

Dark matter's "nightmare scenario" looks more likely than ever Our great hope is that today's indirect, astrophysical evidence will someday lead to successful direct detection. What if that's impossible?

Dark matter’s “nightmare scenario” looks more likely than ever

Perhaps dark matter cannot be directly detected; perhaps it only interacts gravitationally.

That's not an argument against its existence.

That's the nightmare scenario come to life!

More pre-history: the invention of ceramics—pots, bowls, plates—implies the existence of surplus food. Prior to pottery, food was cooked and eaten in smaller bits due to its scarcity. Pottery indicates the presence of surplus food items and thus the need for storage.

If you use GMail, AI (Gemini) was turned on yesterday by default and now scans all of your content for machine learning. To turn off, go to Settings>General and scroll down. Uncheck the box for "Smart features."

There's other "Smart" add-ons as well, but that's the one that reads your content.
