I’ve lost three pounds this week, because, dog walks.

This got so insane so fast..

Mars Valentina either she blocked me or Rover took her down. I just got the notification that the rover cancelled all future bookings and now I can’t find any of our messages.

I guess when you screamed Venmo in Rover’s chat over and over and over again, they get sick of it too.

that’s my thought. Mind you back when she originally requested me, it was a Sunday & I was out of town. It wasn’t even an hour before she started blowing up my phone about not getting back to her. I was sketched from the start and everything since than has been a problem or an argument.

I am seriously crashing out over this because it’s the very very first bad review I’ve ever gotten and I sincerely don’t feel like I was doing anything wrong, but also I have to protect my income..

The customer is refusing, and claiming that I’m personally attacking her because I’m uncomfortable with this situation. The customer refuses to go through Rover, and is unhappy with me for insinuating she “wouldn’t pay me”.

Am I completely out of my mind or am I not the one out of line here?

When I still haven’t heard back by this morning, I sent a message confirming that this was still a service they wanted and to discuss payment. I also mentioned that since we’ve had a hard time communicating, it may be better to continue to book directly through the app to protect us both.

So I show up on Tuesday everything goes well except there’s no communication about payment despite me reaching out.
Fast-forward to Thursday I show up again and nobody’s home, I reached out and waited for a little over half an hour at which point I decided to leave. I heard nothing back.

Imagine: you reach out to me via Rover to hire me for a sit. All goes well, and you decide to hire me to walk your dog twice a week. The first couple of weeks are a little hairy with last-minute cancellations, but hey life happens
