We attended the 2026 Digital Research Infrastructure (DRI) Retreat recently. Day 4 covered sustainable DRI. Should sustainability metrics (energy use, efficiency) be embedded in grant proposals? How would reporting estimated CO2 impact on every HPC job submission influence researcher behaviour?
