Been struggling to climb for days but looks like something finally clicked in the last few days.
The only difference is I got around to watching some streams so I guess that proves that watching is way more productive than spamming games #TFT
Finally made it out of Diamond and got to master but it took quite a while this set.
After I re-prioritized econ augments again the climb was pretty smooth but it was rough for a few days.

The patch isn't perfect but I do think once they balance the outliers Set 16 can deliver on the flex play promise.
The endgame boards might look like the same 5 cost soup, but I've had a lot of fun assembling plans in stages 3 and 4 to get me to 9 and not always the standard lines. #TFT

The intentional design philosophy to prefer level 8+ comps is really interesting. I'm a little sad as someone that likes reroll, but I'm hopeful having more focus will create more fun games than necessarily trying to "perfectly" balance all the different styles
Finished reading over all the stuff revealed for #TFT Set 16 so far and it's... a lot.
Definitely seems like a set with a high skill cap which means I could easily be still learning new things hundreds of games in.
Which is great for creating guides, so pretty stoked!
Set mechanic TLDR: Complete miniquests to add champs to your pool, with the 1st copy guaranteed right away.
Definitely can reward flex play since you should be able to get guaranteed board upgrades by playing the units you get and upgrade early!

The beginner guide is a great jumpstart if you haven't watched it already - teaches a lot of the basics so you understand whats going on.
Otherwise, try following a comp guide and build towards a known board rather than use random units!
