Well the primary goal would be to supplant linux as the go-to installer, and if you get angry/frustrated you can take the extra step of a normal macos license, which gives you tech support ( and the upgrade UI can tell you what might not work), as a tiered onboarding. Suddenly macos is the default.

I like this.

Mine was OpenApple, a macos open source edition that would effectively be a full Mint sideload/replacement, full interoperability with macos, that runs on everything ( a la linux/mint), with full function linux api libraries.

From a tech perspective, it's not a huge lift.

What kind of battery life are we talking about for this, real world?

This reminds me, I want to see if I can prompt YOU into working on an integrated home system for someone who is deaf (or audio sensitive, or similar), via a smartwatch, voice commands to a local voice system that replies back with yes/no/<other>, and probably some big eink things at locations.

This is part of what enrages me about LLMs.

There is (was?) a smartwatch that had a screen in braille, the dot/dot 2, but it feels like it sort of vanished which seems like a damn shame.

I personally would love a simple imprint screen on my watch which I could touch for information!
