Its a new semester and I have about a week to make an ER-model/diagram thing and my textbook wont even explain how attributes work beyond that they contain information about an entity... but how do attributes *work* in an actual database??? are they searchable?? are ENTITIES actually searchable???

i am sorely tempted to pay someone to explain how the hell Entity Relationship stuff works because this shit is making my head hurt
