That looks too cool to be real - which makes it even more cool!

A selfie of me (an old, white, male-appearing guy with long, graying brown hair and a short beard with a gray and white Husky dog with bright blue eyes laying in the grass behind me with his tongue hanging out of his smiling face.
Just me and my buddy, Kona, at Miller Park in Yakima.

This would make an awesome mural on the side of a large building. It's actually what I thought it was when I first saw it. The camera angle tricked me in an interesting way.
A nighttime photo of a gray and white Husky dog sitting on a picnic table.
Another nighttime visit to the Gearhart Gardens dog park in Longview. I wish we could have come during the day so Kona could play with other dogs, but I was busy packing and moving all day.

Congratulations on adopting the good girl! My recently adopted Kona is saving my life, little by little, each day.
I totally get it. Sometimes I look at my fur babies and see that they are so cute that it hurts me to look at them. Then I tell them how I feel and they rotate their heads out of curiosity. Then it hurts even more.
A side view of a gray and white Husky dog standing in the snow with his tail curled up and forward.
Here he is seconds earlier with his normal tail curl.
Not sure why his tail was straight in these pictures. Normally it curls forward a full 360 degrees. Maybe the snow was stressing him out?

8-month-old Kona got to visit the snow for his first time.

So true! And I love my doggies back just as unconditionally.
I black and white Borgi (Border Collie/Corgi mix) sleeping on her back on the lap of a human that is reclining on a brown leather recliner.
I got to spend some peaceful time with Mona today. I miss getting to see her everyday.

Kona and I just had a nice early evening walk around Lake Sacajawea in Longview. He snuck several goose poops into his mouth when I wasn't looking.

My sweet baby Kona, winding down for the evening. Goodnight Bluesky.

Walking Kona at 2:30 am in Yakima, WA...because that's what one does at 2:30 am in Yakima, WA.
A gray and white Husky dog with a light blue harness and a black leash standing on the shoulder of a paved road, next to a sign post. The post has two signs. One says SPEED LIMIT 15. The other says AIRCRAFT HAVE RIGHT OF WAY.
Kona is busy patrolling the runway, making sure the deer, quail, and wild turkeys yield the right of way.

My recently adopted Kona says hello.
A sleeping Husky, resting his head on his human that is laying under a multi-colored quilt.
I wouldn't dream of disturbing this sleeping little angel.
I commend them for making a tough but responsible decision to rehome him. Kona is just what I needed in my life. I will do my best to give him the best life I can - a life that I know his previous family would have given him if conditions were different.
A human girl with black hair and clothing, bent over to pet an adolescent Husky dog that is predominantly gray and black with a white face and legs.
I'd like to introduce my BlueSky friends to my newest best friend, Kona! He's an 8-month old, fluffy bundle of Husky love. I adopted him from the sweetest young family last night that, sadly, could not keep him due to their newborn human baby requiring all of their attention.
Good luck tonight! Let me know if you ever do something closer to Portland.
I'd love to see the finished product!
I love that you got the KSS clock tower in the center of this amazing shot.
This shade of green makes me happy too!
Sorry for your loss. May Arkham live forever in your heart and visit you in your dreams.
A black and white dog with pointy ears laying on a multi-colored beach blanket with her head resting on her human's chest, looking adoringly into his eyes.
With the world crumbling down all around me, both globally and personally, I still feel at peace with my baby girl snuggling and her head resting right next to my heart. Thank you, Mona, for loving me unconditionally.
That looks so amazing!
Two predominantly black dogs laying on a multi-colored beach blanket, draped across the lap of someone reclined on a brown leather recliner.
My babies gave me double the affection yesterday. They usually take turns on my lap, but I think they knew how much I needed both of them at that moment.
