Gonna need some tots, cheese and green beans for that. Probably a can of cream of mushroom too.

Got it, thank you. So this gentleman is clearly making a choice to be so extra.
Asking out of ignorance - what's a top 3 ribbon rack?
Last year I discovered a really good blues band via a recommend video on youtube. I enjoyed it a lot and listened to them quite a bit before realizing it was all AI generated.
If that can happen to me - online, working in tech, informed - then I don't feel great about the population as a whole.
Right? Ron Swanson is an outstanding character, but he's not actually a role model. If you don't believe that government can do good, you probably shouldn't be a part of it.
I've seen some content on Youtube in the past about metal fences picking up some current under high voltage lines. The electric vehicle thing I'm not familiar with.
Listen, I think it's significant that the Pope is standing up to Trump. I think it's good and I think it matters.
But a 'war of words' between a pope and a political leader is definitely not unprecedented. Maybe it hasn't happened with a US president, but it's not new.
I would love to see a breakdown of the science here and what may be happening from someone with expertise in ultrahigh-voltage lines. I'm guessing it's an incredibly high-powered EMF but there has to be some crazy science there.
Franklin Graham does not seem to worship any God I know, so it's not him either.
I'm just saying we have a couple of major historical events in the Great Schism and the Protestant Reformation on that issue.
That said, as a non-Catholic, I have a ton of respect for the two most recent Popes.
I'm going to have to object to "the de facto head of Christendom" here but otherwise fully agree with you. 🙂
No disrespect to my GenX friends, but that generation has been working hard for the "worst living generation" title for a while.
Both the Tigers & Wings have left a lot on the table in the last 10-15 years. (Looking at you, 2014 Tigers, with a starting rotation containing 3 then or future Cy Young winners.) I wish I were able to feel more hopeful about the future, but I don't.
There's a lot to criticize about Mike Ilitch as a person and a team owner, but I always knew he -wanted- championships. A decade into Chris's stretch and I don't buy that. I think he, like many owners, is here to maximize earnings, not championships. I don't think he's even great at that.
Even though the Pistons are very good right now & the Lions are on their best stretch of my lifetime, and both seem to be built well for the future, that leaves 2 of 4 Detroit sports teams where I'm just not buying in to the plan.
In a way, I have less long-term hope for Detroit sports now than I have at any point in the past 25 years. I do not believe that Chris Ilitch is truly invested in building winning teams. Even though the Wings & Tigers were/are supposed to be good this year, the future seems dim.
Feel a little bit like I caught a stray here as a Lions fan.
The Detroit Red Wings and the New York Islanders are the only two teams in the NHL who cannot make the playoffs OR potentially get the #1 pick in the draft. As the season wraps up, I think that's the sweet spot for where you absolutely don't want to be.
I'll be honest you've gone over my head with this one. :)
Find someone who looks at you the way NYT Crossword creators look at the word 'Epee.'
A screenshot of an email I received asking me to sign an 'updated disbursement form' that made it through GMail's spam filters. It's more text than I'd like to type out, but suffice to say you're not missing much and it's very clearly spam/scam.
When Google can no longer recognize that this is a spam (and scam) email, what are we even doing? Sketchy link, text, email address and TLD and not from a contact or matching any previous emails. The internet is experiencing it's own form of Kessler syndrome.
"Magataotao" on Twitter writes: "I am Catholic. This👇is not my Pope." Attached is a video of the Pope saying that we should search for peace and reject war. A community note under their tweet says: "You are not a Catholic if you do not accept the Pope, but rather a schismatic. Canon 751: “Schism is the refusal of submission to the Supreme Pontiff,” ie. the Pope. https://www.vatican.va/archive/cod-iuris-canonici/eng/documents/cic_lib3-cann747-755_en.html"
first in my bloodline to see someone get excommunicated by a community note
artemis coming back to earth
my mind is so blown, when humans aren't being the absolute worst we're actually capable of extremely and unbelievably cool shit. one day i hope we lean into that aspect of existence. let's just give it a shot, we might actually fuck around and build something beautiful.
Also feeling nostalgic for the very early Twitter days when that hashtag was the key to getting answers from across the tech/web spectrum.
I wish PowerShell had a baked in Whois tool. #lazyweb
Was it in Tim's room?
(I just felt left out from the guessing.)
You would think my capacity to feel horror and shame would be gone at this point, but it's really not.
These two would have been sitting down to a late night tea and discussing the next days plans and social activities on the Titanic as the lifeboats left and the ship sank.
I went with the redneck version last summer - metal water trough from Tractor Supply and a ton of epsom salt. I haven't set up a redneck heater for it yet though. :)
