Newest progress on my easel. Back in the studio after a week’s break. Poppies make January in Saskatchewan so much warmer! Let’s face it, pretty much anything is warmer than a Sask winter 🥶

Honestly I might love something another artist does but the minute I take that inspiration and use it in my own practice it is fundamentally changed. Sometimes in a good way other times not so much. We all put our own stamp and history on everything we make. So go for it!

Thought I’d share a few of my paintings. First two are acrylic and mixed media on canvas. Last two are encaustic, collage and mixed media on cradled wood panel.
