Almodovar's La Mala Educación is one that stuck with me, however The Skin I Live In got a lot more buzz, but it didn't really move me very much.

It's just a bit of self-critique, I probably wont do a actual re-make of these, at best I could just do a paint-over and see what can I fix, but some of these characters I definitely want to draw again eventually, specially Officer Dva and Dexter's mom, tho in a all new picture ^^

Moana-2018

I really mess up with this one, her skin looks TERRIBLE, lacks tonal variation and texture, she looks like a mannequin, not a actual person.
The lighting and value comp. doesn't work, there's more contrast around the dude's arm than on her FACE! a total disaster😩

Officer Dva-2021

I really like the concept here, but the execution is poor, The art-style doesn't fit the concept, too sketchy, a more painterly style would have made the moody lighting work better, the value comp. would "pop-up" more, and the forms feel more interesting.

Madeline Fenton-2020

Expressions are interesting here, but poorly done, she doesn't look pretty, specially the mouth area, anatomy feels wrong.
The dude also feels small and un-impressive, with very little muscle details.
Clothes feel too simple, lacking folds and tears.

Doing something different today, instead of pics I like, I will show 4 pics I DISLIKE.

Dexter's Mom-2019

I don't like her face in neither of the shots, too simple, lacking in anatomical details or strong expressions. There's too much empty space, areas of interest feel tiny.
