Two possible answers, first is that he'll never retire, he'll keep exploring new places and adventure until something strikes down his near ageless life. Maybe his skeleton and gear will be found by another adventurer long in the future.

For sure! Elhi will use everything at his disposal to win, so there's no way he wouldn't. He can use a polearm, scythe, great sword, dagger and fist. Technically bow as well but he doesn't really vibe with it so he only uses it for hunting.

Elhi was actually pretty familiar with beastmasters as they were a major part of the 4th legion. He even had a ex-beastmaster as part of his unit (guy lost his critters & refused to replace them). So there's a good chance this will be a canon pick up for him. We'll see how well it meshes story wise

Only in a vague sense. He has visions of their memories now and then, but otherwise has not met or heard much about them. Azem is a monolith to Elhi. A better than him version of him. Someone greater in every way and sense who still, despite everything, failed when they were needed most.

Yep, traveling and exploring new locations is one of the few freedoms still untainted for Elhi. It's something he never would have considered or imagined just 10 years ago, living his life as a Wood Warder, but now he can never give it up.

Frfr! ShB is what made me switch from a non wold-oc to a wold character. And the trusts and the amount of details and personality given to the scions and co is a major factor in that.
Now I always do new content solo with the trusts for maximum immersion. 💖
