First saw this story over on Threads, and people really, really, really did not like anyone correcting misinformation about their misreading of the story. We seem to be moving to some sort of post-reality where people just want fake stories that reinforce their beliefs.

we saw this when AEW first started a bunch of people tired of Vince's booking started watching AEW instead but it became abundantly clear they were just waiting for WWE to get better and left as soon as they thought that was the case

I actually wish more and more people were honest about this too, stop saying you cover "pro wrestling" or that you are a fan of "pro wrestling" if all you watch is WWE.
