The free healthcare you talk about does exist, and it is a system so lacking people may die on the sidewalk before they are admitted to a fucking hospital.

You only get the “government healthcare insurance” if your employer actually pays for it. Guess how many people don’t get it bc their employers won’t pay the fees they should?

I hate that Claudia Sheinbaum gets routinely praised mostly bc a female president in a country like Mexico sounds sooo progressive, but please do your research before doing this kind of journalism. As a mexican living in mexico this is just. Horrible.

Hospitals are understaffed, medical professionals are routinely mistreated when studying for their specialties and could be murdered when practicing in rural towns. There’s no medicine available and you are lucky if your urgent care appt is in less than six months.
