Lol Knicks. McCollum something else.

You don't have to bring up Rick Brunson this much, especially if you're not going to mention why he got fired from his last job. Hope he doesn't use his son to get away this shit with the Knicks. www.espn.com/nba/story/_/...
Do wish they got the extra 25 million the Boston group offered and wish the team stayed in new England. But overall glad they got paid.
Wrote some thoughts on each Valkyries player in training camp after day one
That feels too pat to me. Not all great college players and promising foreigners are equal. Marginal differences between players in draft and free agency dictate who wins titles. Everyone who makes the w is amazing at basketball, not all can be top 5 in the league or even solid starter levels.
I don't want harsh critique like we see of mnba players. No calling pros bums. But a simple, "I wonder if Angela Dugalic was taken a few spots too high cause of being on the title team," doesn't seem overly harsh but adds to fans knowledge and entertainment.
Maybe that's their honest opinion, but it undercuts the goal of highlighting the teams that did well and it seems unrealistic. You can't find anything to even mildly critique? Feels like it limits the depths and seriousness of wnba coverage.
Listened to a pod about the w and the beat reporter was asked by the non-w covering host, "who lost the draft," and the reporter answered with "everyone got they wanted no one did poorly."
Ah well. Good get by Portland.
Not really a wnba vet, but Kamiah Smalls would help the Mystics with her experience playing as a pro and ability to shoot.
Appreciate the Celtics and sixers making it easy for me to switch over to fener vs galatasaray
For all the marbles - #EuroLeagueWomen championship game:
Galatasaray (Marine Johannes, Dorka Juhasz, Awak Kuier, Elizabeth Williams, Kamiah Smalls) vs. Fenerbahce (Breanna Stewart, Emma Meesseman, Iliana Rupert, Gabby Williams, Julie Allemand)

And I mean only those 2. Her husband and I were watching the Warriors and she had no idea who Steph was.
He's from relatively close to where I live so I have a friend who could only name 2 NBA players. LeBron cause he played against her high school when they were both in high school and Luke Kennard.
Luke Kennard???? Where is this coming from??
Rockets getting carved up by a Lakers team with no LeBron, Reaves, or Luka is embarrassing. If the Lakers can survive these no LeBron minutes that would be something.
Seems like we might unless they have plans for point Cotie McMahon, Lucy Olson or heck point Iriafen.
Vegas only bringing 13 players to camp - in an era when you can keep 14 players! - is wild. That's some old-school Laimbeer stuff, from back before training camp contracts existed and he was terrified of someone getting hurt and swallowing his cap space. #WNBA
Like, is Sydney Colson healthy? Someone like that.
I used to be pro rebuilding teams bringing in all young players, to give more opportunities to hit on, but ive changed my mind. Mystics should probably bring in at least one if not two vets. Onyenwere by herself may not be enough.
Cool. Feels like this game she is a big with some wing skills, but this is the first time I've watched her in Turkey. If she can play some wing in the W that would be very cool.
I mean in the sense she plays the 4 or 5. She's unlikely to play the 3, right? Not really a wing.
Oh man thought for a second Carla might have words or more with Marine there. French beef.
Watching Awak Kuier and ready to say irresponsible things about who will be the best big on the Wings this year. I knowhow good Smith and Shephard are but I'm happy to have Kuier back in the W.
Peak Marine Johannes so far.
Wonder how common the name Erdogan is, cause would be weird to have the same name as the authoritarian leader of Turkey.
The NBA needs to get rid of James Dolan.
Interesting that Fener has Sevgi Uzun guarding Juste Jocyte and not Gabby Williams. Williams has size and defense.
Maybe the next cba or longer, but feels like it will happen eventually as wnba salaries get closer to a million on average, not just at the top. Assuming the revenue keeps going up, which I do think it will but what do I know.
