A serendipitous and phenomenal back-to-back

Did you all cancel the show in South Lake Tahoe?
Hmmmmm, indeed.
@thepressbox.bsky.social @bryancurtis.bsky.social not exactly a strained pun, but a fantastic, efficient article title from The New Yorker
This was a fantastic interview and covered a lot of the craft of interviewing. One of my favorites.
Some good poetry in here.
@thepressbox.bsky.social The defense that gives up yards but not points is actually one that “bends but not breaks”
And an offence that gets yards but can’t score is a “20-20 offense” or an “offense between the 20s”

Original headline in the iOS notification was “Grand Theft Otter”. Not sure why they didn’t leave it
@thepressbox.bsky.social seems like they couldn’t decide on the pun for this one.
@thepressbox.bsky.social
For your next not-so-strained pun headline or overworked X joke of the week. I’m sure you’ve seen this now from 100 ppl but what’s one more going to hurt?
Absolutely. The fact that Siri doesn’t work for seemingly simple things when I actually need it—mind boggling
My wife thought it was a parody of the Diplomat. I couldn’t confirm but we both laughed
Love 18F and all the work that it did for this country.
@thepressbox.bsky.social go check out the tweets from all the other teams already trying to get hyped about next year, as if all in sync. The sports cliches are out in force.
This is awesome.
The incredibly enthusiastic Watch notification that says “You did it!” simply because I stood up is quite a depressing statement about society when you think about it.
At the same time, well, I did do that!
This is an odd choice for a customer feedback. I won’t bash it but I am curious what the intent is. Certainly hope it’s not to learn anything generalizable. Maybe it’s just a research recruiting tactic? Even so, I’m not sure “love” vs “not so much” are the pointed opinions I’d be screening for.
@thepressbox.bsky.social here it is again…
Ha! Had the same thought. Maybe this is the Bluesky joke of the week @thepressbox.bsky.social ?
CES time. Looking forward to the fun, the odd, the ridiculous, the interesting, the head-scratching, the inspiring, the hyperbole, the inane, the genuinely compelling, and maybe a whiskey as well.
Didn’t realize “How to beat job stress” was solved in the 80s
Had no idea Donovan held this record. That’s bonkers.
Bluesky has one of the most compelling models of discovery I’ve seen in a while. A model for a lot of other platforms for other forms of media.
Curious if anyone here has a different take or how it’s working/not working for you.
