It’s not all for profit, corporate greed. I work for a non profit hospital system. We have financial assist for those who don’t have health insurance or are underinsured. Patients can be seen in the hospital or the doctor’s offices with little to no cost. There is an application & it’s need based.

Pretty soon the most unbelievable thing about Superman will be that he has a job as a journalist.

I need a minor procedure done and my doctor gave me the choice between in office(longer recovery, more painful and worse results) vs in the OR(more expensive.) People being forced to make medical decisions based on insurance coverage is truly one of the worst things about America.
