Two side-by-side photos of the constellation Gemini in the night sky, with the two brightest stars (Castor and Pollux) at the top of each aligned image. A number of other stars of lesser magnitude appear as well, but the Utah picture has vastly more of them. Clearer desert skies and far less light pollution!

I was out with the telescope last night and took a photo of the night sky to send back to the family. It occurred to me that I now have a side-by-side comparison of the constellation Gemini. 10 sec exposures, same phone, Escalante UT versus the Boston suburbs.
