I rewatched a debate clip of Hillary versus Bernie on Israel-Palestine from 2016 and it really struck me just how reflexive so much of the pro-Israel rhetoric was then, and how ineffective it is now. In a lot of ways I actually sort of get why pro-Israel people are so mad. This stuff used to work.

It's obviously a relief that Viktor Orban's rule is over.

But there is a major caveat.

His replacement is horribly right-wing - he's even more anti-migrant than Orban.
