So gnarly! Absolutely love it

The wild elf witch model from Relicblade, now with a luscious green grassy and flowery base!
The gnome grenadier model from Relicblade, now standing on a green grassland with some stones and a small flower!
The warden of Justice model from Relicblade, now standing on a old grey road with a few spots of green vegetation on the road and off to the side in the mud.
The lone guard infiltrator model from Relicblade, now standing on a brown and green shrubland with a few stones!
I've been basing my Relicblade models from the Storms of Kural set and I'm liking how they're turning out!

A photo of Jack, he wears his typical tortoiseshell glasses, a yellow knit cap, a black t shirt and a Czech camo jacket over it. He is smiling and crossing his arms, which shows off a vintage soviet watch!
About me update!
Adepticon is coming up shortly (and it's in my hometown!) and so I wanted to make an updated about me post for everyone! I am still Jack and I am still a gender nonconforming hobbyist and am now even a certified cool guy ๐
Here are some things about me, some new and some old!
A painted miniature of an elf from the game Relicblade. She has red hair and a green dress and holds a dagger!
The same model as before but showing the back of the model. It shows off the long red hair!
I think I wrapped up the Wild Elf Witch from #Relicblade ! Now I am going through and basing all 8 models from the Storms of Kural set!
An elf miniature mostly painted but with giant, unfinished eyes because Jack wasn't patient enough to finish them during their last hobby session!
On Sunday I worked a little bit on my current #relicblade model, but quickly realized I didn't have the patience to paint at the time. It happens sometimes! So now the wild elf witch has some crazy eyes for the time being.
I'd love to volunteer for an after hours game!!
A needlefelted tree stump with stones and toadstools abound its base
A needlefelted tree with stones and toadstools around its base
A needlefelted twisted tree clinging onto rocks
A needlefelted stone well covered in moss
Iโve started another bit of needlefelted terrain which will include standing stones, a waterfall and trees. Here are a few free standing things Iโve done that will be inspiration!
A partially painted miniature of an elf witch from Relicblade. She wears a green dress and holds a dagger in her hand.
The same elf witch model, but showing the back. It shows off the green dress and red hair.
Worked on some of her accessories this weekend, it's all starting to come together!!
#relicblade
A miniature of a witch holding a knife, her other hand outstretched. It is only partially painted but she has an emerald green dress and red hair.
Little update on the #Relicblade Wild Elf Witch, I think it's coming along nicely!
Go fuck it up Witty, stay safe!
I started work on the last model of my #relicblade Storms of Kural set! I am very excited to see how it turns out!

A halfling thief miniature painted by Jack. It has a yellow vest, black cloak, sheathed sword at its hip, and holding a a metal lantern out in front.
The same halfing thief miniature, shown from the back showing off mostly the black cloak and the hair.
Next in the party is the halfling thief! I like how this one turned out, especially the hair. This model is so tiny!

I am all registered for #adepticon2025! So excited for it to be in my home town this year!
Of course! Reach out again if you need anything.

This is definitely not a complete guide or anything but I think a good place to start! I really am a huge fan of the Reaper Kit, as it gives you everything you need ane a good foundational base in the instructions, from there it's just branching out and learning! Let me know if I can help at all!
I also watched a lot of painters on twitch, it was good to see their workflow and hear them talk about what they were doing, @tabletopminions.bsky.social is a favorite!
This has a lot of info and may be a bit overwhelming but Lyla is a great painter! youtu.be/Y17qBpyLtV8?...
Yeah! I started with this, though it has changed a bit since I did it: www.reapermini.com/search/ltpk/...
It's a kit that comes with everything you need to get started, including models, paints, brushes, and instructions!
There is a similar kit for more advanced skills to do after this one too!
Thank you so much! You should absolutely try, it's actually a much more forgiving hobby than it seems. And if you do think you messed it up, you can just paint over it! I'd be happy to share some resources to get started if you wanted!
The front of a painted miniature of an elf with blonde hair and a green cloak and tunic. He has leather accessories and a bow held at the ready. He stands in front of a grey background.
The back of the same elf miniature, showing off the green cloak and leather quiver. He is standing on a cobblestone base. He stands in front of a grey background.
The first of the party! This was my first ever TTRPG character, he was made for the game Basic Fantasy. He was an elf fighter/magic user multi class and I can't remember his name, but I definitely remember all the good times I had playing him! I'm really proud of the green tunic and hair especially.
The party's minis all together, in the front the halfling thief holding a lantern, behind him are a dwarf cleric in plate armor, an elf in a green cloak with bow at the ready, and a human fighter with torch raised. All in front of a grey background.
The party posed in front of the Pro Acryl paint bottles used to paint them.

This year for holiday gifts I gave my original TTRPG group miniatures I painted of their characters (or NPC) from our first campaign! I will post close ups of each model in the coming days. I am very proud of how they all came out.
Fun fact, they all have matching bases to show they belong together!

Introduction time!
My name is Jack and I am a gender nonconforming hobbyist. I started painting miniatures in late 2018, and it quickly became one of my favorite past times. I have been active on hobby Instagram for a few years and have decided to try out bluesky! Here are some things about me!
