Office drama and cultural chaos lose their grip when I remember I'm just passing through. My real citizenship is elsewhere.

"For our citizenship is in heaven, from where we also wait for a Savior, the Lord, Jesus Christ;" – Philippians 3:20
That dreaded conversation ahead doesn't require my strength alone. Christ's power shows up strongest when I feel most inadequate.
"Therefore I take pleasure in weaknesses, in injuries, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ`s sake. For when I am weak, then am I strong." – 2 Corinthians 12:10
In the quiet stillness of your heart, there is a place where peace abides. This sanctuary within is where God whispers His love song to you. Even amid the world's chaos, His song remains unchanging. The melody of divine love invites you to rest, breathe, and simply be.
"Be still, and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations. I will be exalted in the earth." – Psalm 46:10
When the world feels chaotic, His peace remains. Trusting God fully means surrendering the need to understand everything. He sees what we cannot, and in letting go, we find the strength and clarity that only His guidance can provide.
"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, And don`t lean on your own understanding." – Proverbs 3:5
Sometimes, I am moved to tears by the depth of God's love for us, so beautifully displayed through Christ's sacrifice. In the shadow of the cross, I understand what it truly means to be loved.
"But God commends his own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." – Romans 5:8
In moments of weakness and despair, I find strength in the comforting words of the Lord. I am reminded that His grace is sufficient for me, His power made perfect in my weakness. “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.”
"He has said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may rest on me." – 2 Corinthians 12:9
There are moments when the weight of our sins feels too heavy to bear, but then we remember the magnitude of God's mercy. I personally feel moved by a profound sense of gratitude, knowing that He has washed away my sins.
"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." – 1 John 1:9
The tranquility of the morning, the chirping of the birds, the freshness in the air - everything around me sings of His glory. And I, in my smallness, join in this grand symphony of worship. "The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of His hands."
"The heavens declare the glory of God. The expanse shows his handiwork." – Psalm 19:1
There is a profound comfort in knowing that every tear we shed is seen and remembered by our Father. In our deepest sorrow, we are not alone. He is with us, His hand a gentle guide in our darkest hours. In His presence, we find solace. We find healing. And in time, we find joy again.
"You number my wanderings. You put my tears into your bottle. Aren`t they in your book?" – Psalm 56:8
I'm Matt. For years I've been keeping notes on scripture and it's time to share with others and have online fellowship in Christ Jesus. I'm going to share the scripture (main post) and reflections (first reply). Please feel free to share your reflections, prayers or thoughts. Matthew 18:20!
