Trump’s tariffs would hurt domestic EV manufacturers — except for Tesla. Ain’t that something.
Great reporting, as always, from David Ferris @politico @eenews.

Hillary Clinton schooling Trump on real power and scolding him for being dumb is the salve my soul needed today.

And yet, amazingly, it’s not the biggest story in the country because the defense secretary is sharing war plans on a group text.

My daughter's daycare just sent out an email about potentially needing to layoff staff because new babies about to start withdrew because of parental job losses. So if you're wondering how government layoffs and mass contract cancellations will affect the economy, here's an example

Everyone else: It blew up.
This is what it looks like when you lose a massive spacecraft on its way to orbit right over the Caribbean. Lots of commercial flights turning/holding/diverting to avoid falling debris from SpaceX's Starship.

Dear @dcpublicschools.bsky.social: You know you want to preemptively declare a snow day for Monday. Don’t even think of it as a snow day; it’s experiential learning on meteorology, physics (sledding), and the human form (making snowmen). Do you want to disappoint the kids? DO YOU? ☃️
The prices of everything are so maddening right now. I just missed the $66 Acela train so am paying $87 for the regional train. The next later train was briefly priced at $15 — a steal — but is now $47. Remember when we thought Uber’s pricing was confusing?
Thank you! Nice to see you here too!
